Teaching

My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that teaching should be about enabling and
empowering students to fulfil their potential, regardless of whether that is within or outside
of political science. My goal is to cultivate students’ capacity to: think critically and analyze
complex issues; work within existing frameworks and push the boundaries of those
frameworks; and to be inquisitive.

My three teaching principles are: connecting theory and practice; creating an inclusive classroom; and embodying experiential education opportunities.
